Smart enough to teach.
Intuitive enough to adapt.
Learning a new skill isn’t a single moment — it’s a process. VIZQ is designed to guide that process from first introduction to real-world independence, adapting to each learner every step of the way.
Phase 1: Establishment of Baseline: VIZQ collects data and learns the users’ strengths and needs. No surprises. No ambiguity. Just a calm, consistent foundation before the learning begins.
Phase 2: Demonstration: The learner watches the correct sequence of events performed in full. Seeing the skill modeled accurately before attempting it is a cornerstone of evidence-based instruction, and while the demonstration only needs to happen once before entering VIZQ Mode, learners can return to it as many times as they need.
Phase 3: Guided Practice: Now the learner steps in. VIZQ’s adaptive prompting system breaks each skill into granular steps, providing exactly as much support as the learner needs — no more, no less. As confidence builds, prompts fade. As difficulty increases, support returns. The system responds in real time, keeping every learner in their optimal learning zone.
To ensure genuine learning rather than rote repetition, VIZQ introduces controlled randomization, varying the environment just enough to challenge the learner and build the flexibility they’ll need in the real world.
Phase 4: Personalization: Within just two sessions, VIZQ has learned the learner. By the third session, the platform shifts into its most powerful mode, a four-step personalized learning cycle:
Assess: VIZQ evaluates the learner’s current ability level before the session begins.
Support: Based on that assessment, the system provides highly structured support calibrated precisely to where the learner is today.
Fade: As the learner demonstrates readiness, support is systematically withdrawn, cultivating independence and building toward true generalization of the skill in real-world settings.
Capture: Every data point from every session is automatically recorded, giving therapists and educators a clear, comprehensive picture of progress without a single additional charting burden.
The result? A learner who doesn’t just perform a skill in a clinical setting but owns it in the world outside.

Frequently Asked Questions
What VR hardware does VIZQ require?
VIZQ is currently deployed on Meta Quest 2 and 3 and the PICO Ultra 4 and Neo 3, some of the most widely available and clinician-friendly headsets on the market. If you’re unsure whether your existing hardware is compatible, reach out and we’ll help you find the right setup.
How long is a typical session?
A typical VIZQ session runs between 10 and 15 minutes — short enough to fit naturally into a therapy hour, long enough to deliver meaningful, measurable practice.
How do therapists and educators track progress?
Every VIZQ session automatically captures detailed performance data, including prompt levels, step completion, response accuracy, and session-over-session progress. Therapists and educators can review this data through the platform without any manual charting, making it easy to track where each learner is, document progress toward IEP goals, and adjust treatment plans accordingly. All data is stored on a HIPAA– and FERPA–compliant secured backend, so patient and student privacy is protected at every step.
What modules are currently available?
Teeth brushing is where we start, not where we stop. VIZQ is a growing platform, and new life skills modules are on their way.
